Cats and Dogs

We belong in fighting clans. He's part of the Weids, also known as the Cat clan. I belong to the Serrans, also known as the Dog clan. Our family has been fighting for centuries. We met when his family attacked mine. His family is the leader of the Cats. They're black color and huge, almost tiger-like in size. My family is the leader of the Dogs. We're light gray in color and we're wolf-like in size. We can also become humans. But we first met in our animal forms. I was intrigued by him at first sight. He's the tallest among his brothers, even though he's the second son. His elder brother, Ivan is already dead. Ivan was killed by the eldest of my siblings, Patrick one year ago. But Patrick is gone too. He was killed by James' mother. The living family member of James' family is his father, him, his younger sister Tricia and his younger brother Enrique. My living family member is my father, my older sister Shey and Fretzie and my younger sister Kyra. His mother and my mother are both dead. They died fighting each other. That's when we first met. When my brother and mother died.

 We met again one month after our first meeting. He is fighting with my sister Shey. My father is fighting with James' father while my sister Fretzie is helping my father. Kyra is fighting with Enrique and I'm facing Tricia. I saw that he was about to bite my sister. I jumped and protected my sister. He stopped. His father ordered them to leave.

Later that night I can't sleep. I kept thinking why he didn't bite me. And I also thought about why I am attracted to him. I grabbed a jacket and went outside for fresh air. It was midnight and nobody was out. I went to a nearby park. I noticed that there's a guy sitting on the bench. "What a weird guy," I thought. But I'm a weird girl too. He looked up and I saw that it was James. I became tense suddenly. "Hey. Don't worry, I won't bite you," he said. I'm still suspicious. "Fine don't believe me. Okay, I swear that I won't bite you," he said again. I don't know why but I felt that he was saying the truth. I sat beside him. "You know, I felt something when I first met you," James said. I was surprised. "Me, too. I thought it was only me," sabi ko. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. Like a magnet, our lips touched. With passion we kissed. "I wanted to do this since I met you," he said and then we kissed some more.

It was the start of the peaceful lives of the Cats and the Dogs.
