Dance Rehearsals

"And.... cut!" the director shouted. It was twelve in the evening and they were shooting a scene for Good Vibes. It was Quen and Devon's scene. It was their final scene for the day, that's why James and the other casts were watching. "Amazing," James thought. He was thinking about the way Devon acted. It was a bit serious scene and Devon acted like a pro. When the director asked her to cry, she shed tears immediately. Vut after the scene, she wiped the tears and became her bubbly self again. They all went home to get some rest. James needed the rest badly because he has ASAP rehearsals that morning. They're for a loveteam number.  He's excited, for he loved dancing with Devon. He's so excited, he can't sleep. So he thought about texting Devon and checking if she got home safely.

James: hey
Devon: hey din :)
James: you got home safely?
Devon: yep. kaw?
James: yeah. you're really good earlier sa shooting :)
Devon: hehe. thanks :) cge na, you should sleep, rhearsls p tau tom.
James: yeah, i look forward to it ;-) good night :)
Devon: good night :D

"See you," James whispered, and off he went to Dreamland.

The next day, James drove to rehearsals while singing 'harana'. He's in a good mood today. He found Bret and Fretzie with Ryan and Jenny. The three were laughing while Ryan was telling jokes. James joined the four and found himself laughing at Ryan's funny antics.Devon arrived and joined them. Devon and Ryan sang a duet. It was no secret that Devon has an amazing voice, but Ryan sounded awful. And that's why everybody is laughing when Ivan and Tricia arrived.

Their fun was cutted off when one of the staff said, "I'll announce the pairs now." "Iknow that my partner will be Devon," James thought. "Bret and Fretzie. Ryan and Jenny. James and Tricia. Devon and Ivan," the staff announced. "What!?" James shouted. He thought that he'd be paired up with Devon. "Shouldn't I be paired with Devon since she's my official loveteam?" James asked. "Many Jacia fans have been requesting this so the management decided to grant their requests. Your cheoreographer will be here any moment," the staff said and left. Teacher AJ entered. She explained what song they'll use and they started to rehearse, But James seemed to lost his focus. His gaze is glued to Devon. And Tricia isn't the best partner either. "James, focus!!" teacher AJ said frustatedly. "I'll give you guys ten minutes so you guys can rest. And James, please focus. I know it's hard to rehearse but it's harder to teach someone who doesn't focus. Devon and Ivan, good job," teacher AJ said. "Did you hear that? Teacher AJ just praised us," Devon said, glee can be heard in her voice, her face lighting up like a child. Ivan can't dance well, but Devon is a great dancer and an easy partner, so Ivan had no problem dancing with her. "Yeah, that's because you're a great dancing partner," Ivan said. Little did they know that if looks could kill, Ivan will drop dead by now.

Te day of the ASAP performance, everybody was panicking. Ivan and Tricia are late. It was five minutes before their performance. "James, Devon, you two will be partners today. Ivan is sick and we can't contact Tricia. The moves are almost the same so I think you will have no problems," a staff said. James smiled. His eyes met Devon's. "We can do this," he mouthed. Devon smiled and nodded.

"Let's all celebrate Lauren Young's birthday. But before that here's Bret, Fretzie, Ryan Jenny, James and Devon in Full Circle!" Shaina and Enchong announced. They started performing. James and Devon are obviously the best dancers. But James haven't rehearsed with Devon and vice versa. So Devon did the same routine she did with Ivan. And that ove wasn't in James and Tricia's, so Devon slipped and James slipped with her. Their lips touched. It was a good thing that their performance wasn't a live show. A few of the Jaevon fans that are present screamed with delight and almost fainted. They started from the top and continued as if nothing happened.  After they finished, Devon headed straight to the dressing room she shared with Fretzie and Jenny. James is waiting patiently outside. After a couple of minutes, Devon came out. "I'm so sorry Devon," James said. "Nah, it's okay," Devon said with a smile. The truth is James enjoyed their brief kiss. He secretly liked Devon but he's too shy and too scared to lose their friendship to admit his feelings. Buut after everything, he kep thinking, "What if Ivan has feelings for Devon? Devon admitted that she had a crush on Ivan before. What if Ivan becomes Devon's boyfriend?" So he gathered his courage and admitted his feelings. "Devon, I have something to tell you," James said, beads of sweat appeared on his face. Devon wited silently. "I like you. I liked you since PBB days, but I was afraid. Devon, will you be my girl?" James said stuttering a bit. "Yes," Devon replied with a smile. And they sealed everything nicely with a kiss.
